Blake serves as Chief Agricultural & Farming Officer at Prairie Berries, bringing authentic farmer identity and credibility into leadership at the ownership level. Coming from a multi-generational Saskatchewan farming family and as a working farmer himself, he provides strategic agricultural counsel and validates key farming decisions across operations.

Alongside his leadership responsibilities, Blake remains closely connected to day-to-day activity in the orchard. He supports orchard management, harvest coordination, and processing logistics, helping ensure equipment runs smoothly and production stays on track throughout the year. Whether troubleshooting machinery, assisting with trucking logistics, or lending practical guidance on the ground, Blake brings real-world farming expertise into every aspect of Prairie Berries’ operations.

His strength lies in his willingness to roll up his sleeves and support the team wherever needed. With deep knowledge of equipment, seasonal timing, and practical problem-solving, Blake ensures Prairie Berries has farmer insight embedded in leadership without waiting on external expertise.

Blake’s grounded leadership supports Prairie Berries’ growth while staying true to the work ethic and values that define our culture. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, quadding, sledding, curling, and traveling with Sandy and his family, but his greatest joy is time spent with his grandchildren.
